There are existing paths between these neighborhoods and Harrington Park that will serve as the logical and safe connection, Murello said. In addition to resurfacing this alignment with gravel and site clearing operations, two ADA-compliant paths will be added to Falcon Lane and Partridge Lane, which both currently cul-de-sac before entering the park. Currently, the only pedestrian-friendly connection to Harrington Park is via the existing Patriot’s Path alignment, between Falcon and Partridge Lanes, Murello said. The proposed improvements will expand a sidewalk to these neighborhoods with curb bump-outs and new crosswalks. ![]() ![]() At the Flocktown Road Elementary School, there is currently no sidewalk in front of the school connecting it to the nearby Pheasant Road, Quail Run and Nestling Wood Road, or ADA compliant crosswalks crossing Flocktown Road, thereby cutting off Rock Road, Partridge Lane, and Falcon Lane to safe pedestrian walkability, Murello said. ![]() The proposed project is comprised of approximately 9 separate segments of trails and sidewalks.
